Shame on the mainstream media for dismissing the apprehension of six “known or suspected terrorists” in order to fit their narrative against the Trump Administration.

One “known or suspected terrorist” arrested is enough reason to secure the border. All it takes is one willing martyr to cause severe damage and the loss of American life.

But leave it to the mainstream media to use qualifiers like “just” and “only” in their headlines and tweets to minimize the importance of such a task by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

I am a believer and purveyor of truth. As such, I do not like it when anybody lies, which includes President Donald Trump or his administration.

On Friday, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders as well as White House deputy press secretary Hogan Gidley apparently made false claims that about “4,000 known or suspected terrorists” were arrested along the U.S.-Mexico border.

That number turns out to be six, Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen told reporters on Monday.

Do I hold Trump and his administration accountable for reporting a false number? Of course I do. It was untruthful.

However, I have an even bigger issue with how gleefully and adamantly the mainstream media and its cohorts shot down that number in an effort to show just how terrible a person President Trump really is.

Since when is safety and security secondary to partisan politics?

The CBP should be commended by the mainstream media and all Americans for its arrests of such “known or suspected terrorists” and border security should be desired by every American for that specific reason.
