Harrison Ford is a legendary actor having starred in numerous movies from his role as Han Solo in the original Star Wars trilogy to Indiana Jones in the Indiana Jones film series. He also played Dr. Richard Kimble in The Fugitive, perhaps my favorite of all his movies.

But one of his more unheralded movies was Six Days Seven Nights where he starred alongside Anne Heche and David Schwimmer as a pilot who had to crash-land a plane on a remote island after getting caught in the middle of a thunderstorm.

That movie unknowingly foreshadowed Thursday’s real-life event as the 72-year-old Ford had to crash-land his World War II single-engine plane into a Venice, Calif. golf course, according to multiple reports.

Ford escaped alive, but was a little “banged up” and in a hospital receiving medical care, his publicist Ina Treciokas said in an emailed statement.

Here’s hoping he’s okay!
